Who We Are
Heritage Community Christian School is an independent day school, providing Christian education to students in grades JK-8 since 1960, with a newly extended hybrid Grade 9-12 high school program that integrates discipleship and faith formation with their online learning.
HCCS will grow in God's grace and knowledge by providing meaningful, biblically based education for generations of families to come.
To show every child that they have a purpose, to look for where God is at
work and join Him, and to celebrate
that they are part of His story of hope for the future.
Our Purpose
We believe that it is our responsibility as Christians to raise children in the light of God’s word. Christ-centred education equips students to become responsive disciples of Christ who serve God and others while bringing joy and hope to the world.
We believe that God gives the family the primary responsibility for raising children. HCCS teachers are partners with parents and families in educating children by supporting and extending the Christian values taught at home. Parents are invited and encouraged to partner with us in their child’s learning experience by volunteering in the classroom, on committees and in fundraising.
Teaching for Transformation
